FINDING INDEXES: All collections are indexed and searchable. The Page Center has launched an oral history project to conduct and preserve detailed interviews with those who personify the Page Principles. These oral histories focus primarily on the topics of ethics in public communication and corporate responsibility. They are collected, indexed and made widely available—along with an array of other research materials—to academics, professionals and the general public in a variety of electronic formats and at the Page Center research archive at Penn State. Goals of the Oral History Collection
Dissemination of Oral Histories The key to success of the oral history collection is to make the interviews searchable, easily accessible, and useful to professionals, researchers and the public. That required detailed indexing and editing of the raw material and making the results widely available, primarily in electronic formats.
Portions of interviews related to a particular topic (e.g. Code of Ethics / Mission Statements / Credos) will then be available to researchers using video-streaming via the Center's web page. - All transcripts have been edited for brevity and clarity - |
